Ok. I give. After seeing Chris kill the Chicago Marathon today, I am a Hansons convert. So long 20-mile training runs, hello “SOS” (something of substance) runs. I just downloaded the kindle version of this book, and wouldn’t you know it, my next marathon is exactly 18 weeks away. Excel training spreadsheet has been set up with minor modifications to accommodate upcoming races. Said spreadsheet has been copied to google docs for access from any computer or mobile device. Approximate training paces have been estimated based off my recent 10k. All systems go.
Oh, it was storming this morning, so I didn’t run. But, I did THINK a lot about running, so it’s kind of the same.
