So, I just finished Eat & Run by Scott Jurek yesterday. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. It was much more about the running and a lot less about the details of his personal life than a lot of other running autobiographies. He writes about a handful of his more memorable races and dedicates a full chapter to each race. So, if you like reading race reports (like I do) you’ll definitely like this book. Be warned though, it will make you want to go run 100 miles. Jurek also includes a bunch of his favorite vegan recipes if that’s your thing. While he definitely stands behind his “plant based lifestyle”, he doesn’t shove it down your throat. So, vegan or not, I think most runners will enjoy this book and find parts of it that they can relate to.
